Quick update. I got my Visa!

(Hopefully) Minor Speedbump...

So my dad left a message on my voicemail while I was on the way back from the Sierra's (awesome, by the way) saying that I can only come for 3 months. "WHAT!" Come to find out that you're only legally allowed to "vacation" in New Zealand for 3 months at a time and they won't let you on the plane with a ticket exceeding that time period. This super sucks because it would cost me an extra $200 to change the ticket twice (I could apply for a visa once I get there) and I'm dirt poor already. I did some searching this morning and found a "Working Holiday" visa they grant to people age 18-30 who plan on staying for up to a year with vacationing as their primary interest with the possibility of working as well. Fits the bill, it seems. I filled out the online application today and it says it takes just a few days. Godspeed, New Zealand Immigration Office!

I've got exactly two weeks left here and ton of stuff to do. I've got 2 quizzes, 1 exam, 1 hwk set, 1 project, 1 marketing study, 5 final exams, 10 shifts at work, packing, planning, hanging out with friends/family, and hopefully sleeping. Ya, I got stuff to do.
